Finally it happened - I moved my web-hosting from Servage.net to Surftown.dk and so far Im pretty happy about it. Surftown have some amazing transaction times on both filesystems, ftp and MySQL to say the least! The only major difference is the diskspace which is "only" 20GB at Surftown versus 360GB at Servage. But compared to the overall stability Surftown is far superior. The migration of data When moving a website to a new hosting partner, there's always a lot of work. But with Surftown everything went (more or less) smooth. The only difficulty was with the WordPress permalink struction that I needed to reconfigure. It took somewhere between 5-10 minutes. So it really wasn't a problem :-) Well, that's it for now.. Cheers! Post Scriptum If you experience any strange behavior on this website after the migration, please let me know.
