And so it happens! I've decided to stop using Servage.net as my hosting partner. There are many reasons why, but the primary are: Extreme MySQL latency Slow upload and download Extreme response times when loading simple pages Slow DNS Slow filesystem...

And so it happens! I've decided to stop using Servage.net as my hosting partner. There are many reasons why, but the primary are:
  • Extreme MySQL latency
  • Slow upload and download
  • Extreme response times when loading simple pages
  • Slow DNS
  • Slow filesystems (even with SQLite!)
So, if you any suggestions in regards to other hosting partners, please let me know. I've been looking at:
  • Surftown.dk (20 GB disk on linux / windows and rather fast MySQL)
  • One.com (4GB disk but rather slow MySQL and slow initial load time)
My requirements (prioritized):
  1. Low latency on MySQL
  2. Quick load time
  3. Multiple domains
  4. Min. 10 GB disk
